Cosmology

The Cosmology Initiative at ASU explores the deepest questions of the cosmos, from the birth of the universe to the formation of galaxies to the fundamental laws of nature. The Initiative bridges the Department of Physics and the School of Earth and Space Exploration (SESE), and has strong connections with the Beyond Center and the Beus Center for Cosmic Foundations.

Our faculty, research staff, and students pursue experimental, observational, and theoretical studies of cosmology and astrophysics, while maintaining an environment where people of all backgrounds are welcome to push the boundaries of our knowledge of the universe. Feel free to explore this website to learn more about who we are and what we do.
